Brim note manager: starred and recent notes at a glance

A note app that keeps up with your thoughts

One behavior maps to one action; one concept carries one meaning.

Pull out a note, start writing

No launching, no switching — always ready.

Just enough structure

Markdown lists / tab indentation / style shortcuts: clear roles, formatting never steals the show.

Tags as global markers

Type # to tag; displayed separately, never cluttering your text.

Images as attachments only

Kept out of inline layout; viewed and shown separately.

Spotlight-style manager

Search and filter at the core; starred / recent / others — three tiers for quick lookup.

Two states: on the desktop / tucked away

Important stays visible, the rest stays tucked away — no desktop noise.

On iOS: two faces, one philosophy

Every button is an action that takes you straight to the goal.

FAQ

Which platforms does Brim support?

macOS and iOS, both fully native, synced via iCloud with no extra sign-in.

Does Brim sync notes between Mac and iPhone?

Yes. Brim syncs notes between macOS and iOS via iCloud: notes you capture on your Mac automatically appear on your iPhone, and notes you write on your iPhone sync back to your Mac — no extra account or sign-in required. iCloud sync is a Pro (paid) feature and isn't included in the free plan; one upgrade unlocks it on both Mac and iOS.

iCloud sync requirements and troubleshooting

What's the difference between the free and paid versions?

The free version includes core note-taking, but with limited notes / tags / images and no iCloud sync. The paid version unlocks everything on Mac + iOS, via monthly subscription, yearly subscription, or one-time purchase.

Free vs. Pro limits explained

What does the trial include?

Yearly plans include a 7-day free trial with full features. Trial eligibility is determined by the App Store.

Why might Pro stop working after I switch App Store accounts?

App Store in-app purchases belong to the Apple Account used for “Media & Purchases” at the time of purchase. Brim doesn't run its own purchase accounts and can't see your Apple Account information or merge two accounts. So when StoreKit can't find a valid purchase under the current account, Brim can't confirm your original entitlement. Please switch back to the account you used at purchase, then open Brim's purchase settings and choose “Restore Purchases”. Restoring purchases may show a sign-in screen provided by Apple.
